The first time I’ve ever visited Toast Café was last September 21st, 2015. And since then, this hotel restaurant became our all-time-favorite; to my close friends, and my beloved agents. It is very accessible, and it has a very cozy atmosphere. The space is intimate and not overcrowded. The food is good and just enough for the price that you pay. Back then, their breakfast buffet costs P250 per person, and to combat inflation, they only increased a bit, to P295 per person.
I have frequented my visit, bringing in different sets of people. And just like a relationship, I had my ups and down with them, but still I remained to be faithful, and that is because of the excellent customer service skills that their supervisor/manager possess.
Last November of 2015, I called to make a reservation for our team’s early Christmas breakfast, since a lot of them are being re-deployed to another program. I was then told that they do not any reservations, and was assured seats will be available since it’s not yet a peak season. When we arrived at the front desk, we were denied admission since according to them, the restaurant might be full since the hotel was fully booked. With our persistence, after asking and talking for their manager, we were warmly accommodated.
Their usual menu includes variations of the following: waffle, muffins, bread, butter, jam, and omelet, Pesto Pasta, Pasta Aglio e Olio, Crispy Bacon, Beef & Mushroom kind of steak, Pulled Pork Adobo, Tuna Casserole…
And for the health conscious, green salad is always available, as well as cereals. They also serve unlimited coffee and “instant” fruit juice.
